Midwest Jeepthing’s (MWJT) premier annual event, JeepStock 2016 was a blast. We had everything from stock Jeeps fresh off the lot to seasoned drivers with crazy builds. We all converged in Seymour, MO for an epic wheeling weekend.
The event took place at Southern Missouri Off Road (SMORR). SMORR is a nationally recognized top off road park, with nearly 1,000 acres of off roading fun and top notch facilities, including nice bathrooms & showers, genuine camper-friendly sites, tow rig & trailer parking, large shelter where everyone hangs and more.
The event began on Friday, September 16th and concluded Sunday, September 18th. The 3 day event includes trail runs everyday, great food and a ton of awesome raffle prizes. MWJT Trail guides lead groups, based on difficulty and rig capability (mild, moderate, difficult/extreme). Trail support was offered if a breakdown occurred on the trail. Unfortunately, I needed a bit of help after bending a rim attempting a gnarly rock hill.
About 150 Jeeps and over 300 people participated. Fun was had by all. Here are some of the highlights from this year’s event.
