At the time I didn’t know why, it was just bouncing over the rolling hills on the Interstate. When I got home after driving almost 1000 miles I saw exactly why the Jeep seemed to float down the road. The front driver side shock was completely missing the lower shock bolt and was turned 90 degrees in the mount. Yikes! Good thing I didn’t make any quick maneuvers on the Interstate. A grade 8 bolt and nut ought to do the trick. I’m not sure then this happened, just glad it didn’t cause any issues at 80 mph.
