We met at the commuter lot at Interstate 44 at Bowles to Jeep-a-Van to Santa’s Magical Kingdom. Midwest Jeepthing members proudly decorated and displayed their Jeeps. Even though the evening was full of long lines and burnt clutches. We had fun.

New Jeep in the Stable

My wife travels a lot for her job. So, she needed a nice mobile office. This new 2016 Jeep Grand Cherokee Limited 75th Anniversary was the perfect fit. It’s hard to believe this Jeep is kin to the ’94 Grand Cherokee I drove in High School.

Huzzah Conservation Area Hike

My best friend (Matt) and I recently packed the Jeeps and went went glamping. This time of year we usually backpack, but this was a nice change of pace. For us, glamping involves camping with¬†creature comforts that we wouldn’t otherwise have when backpacking. For instance, we grilled ribeye’s for dinner that evening. The Huzzah Conservation […]

Richland Creek Backpacking Trip

On December 14th, 2013, my wife and I met several friends at the Richland Creek Wilderness Area to go backpacking. The 11,800-acre parcel of land in the Ozark Plateau in Arkansas is riddled with beauty just waiting to be explored. It boast a plethora of creeks, turquoise pools, terraced bluffs, and waterfalls within the Ozark […]
